My name is Nicole Shipp and I have two boys. I am a single mom of a 14-year old and 9-year old. I had a friend of mine that is a patient of Dr. Mascagni that recommended me to come see her. I came in and they suggested I submit an essay for The Mother’s Day Makeover, so I did. I came in a couple weeks later and they surprised me. I was totally taken by surprise. When I learned that I won, I felt a sense of relief for sure. The makeover will definitely change my confidence level. I just want to have a full smile again, that way I don’t have to cover it up. I’ll have more confidence for sure and I want my kids to be proud of their mom. There’s not enough thanks to them, to the staff here at Arkansas Family Dental for giving me the opportunity for this.
I had a lot of work done – several teeth pulled, but it wasn’t near as scary as I thought it would extend. I didn’t have any swelling. I had some after-pain, but no scary moments. The whole entire staff are so friendly and caring. They ask you questions, joke around with you, and they make you feel really comfortable. That really did help relieve any preliminary anxiety I had coming in. They really made me feel comfortable. I have fought a lot of decay and cavity for several years now and with this being taken care of I feel better. I’m not having headaches or am as tired as I was before, because my mouth isn’t fighting bacteria or infection. I don’t know how to put it all into words just how grateful I am, because they have changed my entire life. I owe a lot to Arkansas Family Dental.
